Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Competencies: - Develop, communicate, and train other associates to standard inventory procedures. - Coordinate, perform and analyze cycle counts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, floor negatives, and reprocessing lists. Provide and implement corrective actions as required. - Assist in various projects to investigate or resolve material control issues. - Develop new methods, processes, procedures to increase efficiencies of material flow and support implementation of continuous improvement projects. - Prepare and implement training plans for material flow improvement projects - Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required. - Work as a Materials Team Leader for limited periods of time; i.e., to cover during absence. - Update warehouse views in the material master. - Process short term deviations from an inventory standpoint. - Action Oriented - Is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others. - Customer Focus - Is dedicated to meeting the e...
