POSITION SUMMARY: - The Pre-Order MV SWGR Electrical Designer - IEC is responsible for partnering with the EMEA Sales Team and the IEC SWGR product management team when looking at Medium Voltage Switchgear opportunities from an overall electrical design point of view. This role will analyze and do the initial electrical design / estimating, working closely with the EMEA pricing team, to come up with an estimate to support the quote to a customer. This includes partnering with the Vertiv Unify team to understand the controls and relay design for the overall system. The position will be located in Campsie Northern Ireland or Ras Al-Khaimah United Arab Emirates co-located with the MV SWGR IEC Order Engineering Teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with the MV SWGR estimating team (pricing) to analyze the customer’s design requirements and support the CDE (Comply, Deviate, Exception) Process. - Based on what’s observed via the CDE process provide design feedback and trends to the MV SWGR – IEC product management team so that the product portfolio roadmaps can be adjusted accordingly based on market trends. - Pre-pare Electrical Schematics and Designs to support the pre-order quotation proces...
