Coder Outpatient

Job description

Scope: Outpatient coder with 2 + years' experience with ICD-10-CM diagnosis and CPT procedures for observations, same day surgery and ancillary encounters at a trauma level 1 facility. Specialities include but limited to cardiology, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, pulmonology, ENT, GI and general surgery. Must be experienced with checking CCI and medical necessity edits. Epic and 3M 360 CAC experience required. Production expectation is 5-15 CPH on average depending on the chart type.
