We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Protein Purification Team as a Research Scientist with a primary responsibility to express and purify a range of recombinant protein components for our disruptive nanopore sequencing technology. This will be carried out by both following established protocols and developing novel methods. This will be carried out by following established protocols and establishing new methods where required. As one of the key components of our technology, we continuously strive to improve and upgrade our protein components whilst simultaneously developing new methods of expression and purification. Working within a focused team in the research department, this predominantly lab-based role will involve the purification and characterisation of a variety of enzyme motor proteins, nanopores and other novel targets.
