Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking an individual to coordinate the implementation of Stantec’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) program within the North America Infrastructure Business Operating Unit (BOU). The position will be based out of one of our larger offices in Canada West and will report to the North America Transportation Business Line (BL) HSSE Manager. This is a full-time position, and work hours will reflect the requirements of the geography. Your Key Responsibilities: - Apply practical knowledge and experience to independently solve complex HSSE problems related to areas within their operational control. - Work with the HSSE Manager to investigate, manage, and track incidents, identify effective preventative and corrective actions, support filing and data entry requirements, and develop and share lessons learned. - Identify and lead process improvements in alignment with business and/or HSSE strategic goals. - Provide coaching, advice, and support to business line leadership on HSSE as it pertains to the services provided by the business. - Support operations to effectively use Stantec’s HSSE systems including the HSSE program manual, OHS management s...
