Job Description Salary up to £50,000 (inc. 30% shift allowance) Reporting to the Machine Shop Shift manager, a Section Supervisor is required to ensure production targets are achieved in a cost-effective manner, ensuring that delivery performance is maintained at all times. The successful applicant will be expected to ensure that any inefficient processes are identified and eliminated, and that resources are correctly utilised such that machines and processes run smoothly. The successful candidate will be expected to work a 3 shift rotation (working hours will vary over three week periods, with working hours as follows: 6am‑2pm, 2‑10pm and 10pm‑6am). A corresponding shift premium of 30% is payable for working the specified shift pattern. Responsibilities: Demonstrate effective management of staff on a daily basis in order to maximise productivity and efficiency. Demonstrate effective management of all quality related issues with the implementation of robust corrective actions.
