Join the Engineering Applications team within Distribution Engineerings System Design department where you can have the opportunity to build the electric grid of the future. The System Design department is seeking highly a motivated and versatile Manager (2H) to join our team. System Design is responsible for overall system analysis, design standards, high tension, renewable and distributed generation analysis and interconnections, and engineering computer applications. The Engineering Applications team performs distribution system studies, provides technical support, and coordinates with company forces to support in the design, upgrade, and maintenance of the Con Edison distribution system. The Manager in the Engineering Applications team will supervise associates, system analysts, senior system analysts, and contractors in providing a wide range of engineering services to internal and external customers, including the development and maintenance of Con Edisons principal distribution system design and operation tool, the Poly-voltage Load Flow (PVL) suite of applications as well as other analytical tools such as CYME and SINCAL, and developing other engineering analytical tools.
