POSITION INFORMATION: DGL is looking for an experience, well-rounded civil/structural engineer to enhance the qualifications of our rapidly expanding Development Division. As a multi-disciplinary engineering and survey firm, success in this position will require the ability to coordinate all aspects of a project beyond the structural discipline. - Reports to Facility/Site Development Lead Engineer - Full-time, Exempt - 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferred PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ability to act as engineer of record in responsible charge of structural projects, as required. - Perform and oversee structural design and plan production. Work closely with and instruct staff engineers and CAD technicians to prepare drawings and specifications in accordance with project requirements. - Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain communications, and expectations, with clients during project initiation, design, and construction phases. - Coordinate with outside engineers and architects on project requirements. - Review shop drawings, RFIs, and respond to other construction questions. - Encouraged to provide input and collaborate on implementation...
