NDE Technician

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a NDE Technician to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. The NDE Technician will conduct conventional NDE inspections for clients, primarily in the facilities and terminals related to the oil and gas industry. In this role, the technicians will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting conventional NDE inspections, interpreting results, and generating final report deliverables. Reports to the Facilities Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Areas of Responsibility will include: - Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures. - Travel to clients' locations. - Setting up, calibrating and maintaining NDE equipment. - Conduct inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals. - Perform UTT, MT, and PT inspections, P&ID redline and creation of inspection ISO’s. - Willingness to obtain API certifications and ongoing development. - Program development; key team member in continual improvement of service program to include improvement support of procedures and work instructions. - Interpreting inspection results, completing ins...
