Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): ROUTING SPECIALIST: WORKING TITLE: Routing Specialist-Special Education Transportation SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Transportation: LOCATION: Crossroads III, Cary, NC: PAY GRADE: Noncertified Grade 29: FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: No: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is eligible for hybrid telework workweek POSITION PURPOSE: Ensures efficient and on-time routing system of special transportation for students who require specialized accommodations and/or equipment for travel to and from school. Collaborates and assists the Administrator and Operation Mangers in developing accurate, efficient, and safe stops, runs and routes for special education transportation using the Transportation Information Management System (TIMS).
