Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager – Cranes SUMMARY: Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager-Cranes . This role supports Mortenson’s crane program by helping manage the crane fleet as a category-managed internal rental business: forecasting demand, supporting fleet and capital plans, coordinating deployment, and ensuring strong cost, utilization, and service outcomes across the portfolio. You’ll partner with other Equipment Solutions Managers, project teams, crane operations stakeholders, and external vendors to connect the dots between jobsite execution and business performance—making sure we have the right lifting capacity, at the right time, at the right total cost. Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site 5 days/week) RESPONSIBILITIES: Fleet/category strategy & financial management (core of the role) Support the crane category as an internal rental/fleet business: connect project demand signals to fleet positioning, pricing, and lifecycle planning.
