Opero Energy is currently seeking a Senior Piping Designer to join our team in our Houston, TX Fabrication Office. The Senior Piping Designer will perform assignments associated with designing modular oil & gas processing skids, mechanical equipment, structural steel layout and working on fabrication deliverables such as Isometric spools, Piping Plans & Elevations, Plot Plans, General Arrangements, Transportation Plans, Vessel fabrication details, P&ID’s/PFD’s and Junction Box drawings. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Comply with all company and client health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) standards as well as federal and local HSSE regulations. - Actively participate in company and client hazard identification and observation programs, and immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or incidents to your supervisor. - Understanding of what is required to shop fabricate or field construct the project, knowing how components go together and in what order is essential. - Initiate drawings following instructions of engineer, designer, supervisor, specifications and/or sketches. - Prepare complete design packages which may include, but not be limited to, preliminary, conceptu...
