Imaging Student - Cath Lab

Job description

Under the guidance and direction of a licensed technologist, assists with all imaging duties except for administering radiation. Must be currently enrolled in a radiologic program. - Processes imaging exams including evaluating film for technical quality. - Transports patient to radiology departments, prepares and maintains room. - Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. - Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis. - Maintains radiology equipment in efficient operating order, preforms preventive maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis, contacts outside service for major malfunctions. - Maintains clean and orderly work areas. Request and order supplies as necessary to always keep materials on hand. - Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. - Prepares written documentation as required, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, etc. Attends meetings as required. - Understands scope of limitations. - Request...
