Job description
VHIR and the Systemic Diseases Research Group is seeking a Research Technician specialised in Immunomediated Diseases to collaborate in the Autoimmunity and Allergy area within the Immunology Laboratory. Main responsibilities and duties: Perform and optimise specialised immunological and molecular biology techniques, including ELISA, flow cytometry, Western blot, PCR (qPCR, ddPCR), and cell culture Conduct autoimmunity and allergy-related assays, such as autoantibody detection and IgE-mediated response analysis Process, handle, and store biological samples (blood, serum, plasma, tissues) according to established protocols Analyse, interpret, and accurately record experimental and clinical data using laboratory information systems (LIS) Support and actively participate in ongoing research projects related to autoimmune and allergic diseases Contribute to the implementation and validation of new diagnostic and research techniques Provide technical support and training when required Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory workflows, protocols Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
