Energy Resources Summer Intern – 2026 Tri-State is an electric power utility providing electricity to rural electric cooperatives. We have an Energy Resources Summer Intern opportunity for 2026. Students who have successfully completed two (2) or more years of undergraduate study towards a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Legal/Regulatory, Data Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline with a focus on energy from an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. Seniors who will be graduating in December or are planning to attend graduate school in the Fall are also encouraged to apply. This summer position offers students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the electric utility industry and gain experience in working with professionals on the Energy Management team responsible for evaluating and managing traditional dispatchable and non-traditional innovative technologies such as gas, solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal, hybrids, etc. The successful candidate will gain exposure to different functions of the company, specifically how to interconnect new resources for regulatory compliance, and programs and policies surrounding energy resour...
