Job description
As the Production Control Planner, you are responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and that products are delivered on time. This role will be working in close communication with management, engineering, and production employees on a daily basis. To excel in this role, you will be expected to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Location: 54 Morton Avenue East, Brantford Dedicated Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday Job Duties: - Plan and schedule material processes according to the production schedule - Monitor the production plan and resolve any potential material issues - Investigate production problems; analyze root causes and systems, including MRP, Kanban, and heijunka to improve material consistency - Analyze delays and shortages; communicate production material requirements to meet delivery dates - Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages - Coordinate with production to plan and implement engineering change notices (ECN’s) - Monitor production...
