Production Associate- Hobb Operator 2nd shift

Job description

Position Purpose: Operate all Hobbs and Rack Rollers in the department to machine splines on S-cam shafts Hourly or Salary Range: $16.75 - $19.75 Essential Functions: - Maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety standards in the workplace - Read work orders to determine material specifications - Position work piece against the stops, pushes button and/or depresses pedal to activate machine - Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions - Check parts visually and with gauges supplied by QA Reports all abnormal conditions to Lead Person or Supervisor - Keep machine filed with coolant and oil - Complete work order and Hobb Dimension Reports correctly and legibly - Follow written and oral work instruction - Work well with supervision and co-workers - Willingness to run other machines when needed such as but not limited to Heat Treat & Rack Roller - Work in a safe manner at all times - Keep work area clean at all times - Other duties as assigned Education and Training: - High School Diploma or GED - Machine Operator experience helpful Minimum Qualifications: - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Basic math skills Physical Demands: - Ability...
