Description Quality Assurance Engineer Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network. OVERVIEW: The candidate in this position will contribute to the Quality Assurance team by working closely with manufacturing and engineering groups to focus on our drive to be the highest delivered quality compact equipment in the industry. This position will report directly to our Quality Assurance Director. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Implement Quality systems for production and engineering. - Material Review Board (MRB) experience or exposure. - Collect and evaluate quality data to identify process improvement opportunities. - Work with production to create corrective action plans to address process failures. - Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with team members on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities. - Regularly communicate with Engin...
