Job Description Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist – Environmental Focus Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9PM to 7AM Wage: $34.00/hr: Position Summary: The EHS Specialist (Environmental Focus) supports the organization’s environmental compliance and sustainability efforts while also contributing to workplace safety and occupational health programs. This role partners with operations, facilities, and leadership to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and internal EHS standards, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Environmental (Primary Focus): · Maintain compliance with applicable environmental regulations (e.g., air emissions, wastewater/stormwater, hazardous waste, spill prevention) and company requirements. · Manage environmental permits and reporting (e.g., waste manifests, discharge monitoring, emissions inventories) and coordinate submissions with regulatory agencies as required. · Oversee hazardous/non-hazardous waste management, including proper labeling, storage, accumulation area inspections, vendor coordination, and documentation. · Lead spill prevention and response readiness (e.g., SPCC support where applic...
