Patient Access Operational Support/Data

Job description

Primary Function Responsible for the day to day operations within the Patient Access areas by providing assistance and support to the staff, Supervisor and Manager. Streamlines daily functions and ensures compliance with all established policies and procedures. Responsible for analyzing databases, entering data and creating reports based on data collection. Coordinates schedules, meetings, maintains attendance system, compose correspondence and files. Encourages a team approach towards achieving the overall goals of the revenue cycle and CNE hospitals. Responsibilities: - Analyze data with statistical methods, interpret results and provide summaries. - Design and maintain databases for the purpose of data analysis. - Extract, manipulate, format and present data obtained from various systems in a manner that meets Department management team’s specifications and timelines. - Explore and display data to discover patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies and trends. - Enter data from source documents into computer. - Identify and resolve discrepancies by contacting sources of information. - Create data flow, process diagrams and gap analysis. - Create reports based on data collecti...
