The Role LSEG's Observability team powers the monitoring and platforms behind our global financial infrastructure — and this role is central to that mission. The Observability Architect builds how engineers across the organisation detect, diagnose, and resolve issues before they reach customers. It's a chance to create and deliver platforms that span cloud-native, on-prem, and hybrid environments, and to partner with application, engineering, and SRE teams who depend on them every day. What This Role Does: The Observability Architect drives the vision and delivery of LSEG's observability architecture: spanning instrumentation, telemetry pipelines, storage, alerting, and automated response. This includes engineering pipelines with OpenTelemetry, Cribl, and other platforms to standardise data collection, reduce volume, and handle cost, as well as accelerating adoption of platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and BigPanda.
