This weekend option position is e very Saturday and Sunday 3:00am-3:30pm with no call Work Shift: Weekend Option Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Summary: This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient centered care by performing computed tomography procedures, including CT procedures of an invasive nature. Job Description: Job Duties: - Ensures that all accurate and clinically relevant information is communicated with patients, their families and co-workers at hand offs and other times as needed. Take all measures necessary to ensure that the appropriate and involved parties have communicated necessary information in order to allow for the best possible patient outcome. - Performs diagnostic x-ray and CT exams according to established protocol and with the least amount of radiation needed to obtain a quality image. - Explains and prepares the patient for all CT exams. - Demonstrates a working knowledge of RIS, PACS, Laborworkx and other computer software as assigned. - Identifies each patient correctly verifying the exam to be performed. - Reviews each patient's medical history and clinical diagnosis for appropriateness of exam....
