About the role: As Chapter Lead IRRBB, you are responsible for the coordination of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) management and measurement across ING. The role sits within the Banking Book Risk department, which is part of the wider Financial Risk function. You provide bank‑wide oversight and act as the owner of the IRRBB model framework, working closely with Group Treasury, business lines and local risk teams to ensure a consistent, transparent and decision‑relevant approach to IRRBB across the Group. The role combines senior risk leadership, governance, oversight and people leadership at Group level. You play a central role in shaping how IRRBB is managed within ING and how risk insights support balance sheet management, hedging decisions and risk appetite setting at senior management level.
