Instrument Field Technician

Audubon is currently seeking an Instrument Field Technician to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Instrument Field Technician installs, calibrates, maintains, and repairs electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment (valves, transmitters, analyzers) to ensure safety and efficiency in industrial plants. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receives, inventories and catalogs instrument for calibration. - Set ups calibration and loop files. - Instrument tubing Fitting/bending (Process Tubing, air, etc.) - Records calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of parts on hand. - Tests accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment. - Keeps loop drawings, installs air tubing and control tubing runs, works start up following start up procedures; inspects meters, indicators and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations. - Removes defective instruments from system and decontaminates, disassembles and cleans instruments and replaces defective parts. - Lubricates instruments and replaces defective wiring and tubing. - Inspects me...
