Job description

Here’s what you’ll be doing: - Responsible for the accuracy and reliability of various aspects of financial reporting for the Tribe and related entities. - Preparation of appropriate financial analysis of the various Tribal government departmental financial reports and business enterprise statements using demographic data, non-financial information, ratio analysis, or other methods. - Participates in the planning and analysis of all financial information including preparation and maintenance of reports providing support to all Tribal programs and upper management. - Assists in the coordination of the Tribal government budget. Provide accurate and timely reports of operating results against stated plans. - Assists with the maintenance of the Tribal government chart of accounts. - Assists with the completion of the annual independent audit. - Prepares reconciliations on various balance sheet accounts and understands the connection with associated income statement accounts and the need to review those as part of the reconciliation process. - Maintains records on designated grants, preparing and filing reports to granting agencies on a timely basis.
