This Opportunity WSP is growing, and we have opportunities for an Assistant CMT (Construction Materials Testing) Technician to perform field and lab testing for construction projects. This position is located in El Paso, TX. Your Impact: - Under general supervision, perform routine soil sampling/testing and/or laboratory testing of soil. - Properly calibrate testing equipment under general supervision, perform soil, concrete and asphalt laboratory testing to confirm compliance with project specifications in accordance with established procedures - Prepare and submit accurate, legible, comprehensive and complete testing reports on a daily basis in accordance with established quality procedures. Review plans, specifications, general notes and shop/working drawings for assigned activities prior to performing assigned duties - Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data.
