About us Trust for Nature is a not-for-profit conservation organisation that works to protect native plants and wildlife in cooperation with private landholders. Established in 1972 under the Victorian Conservation Trust Act 1972 (Vic), Trust for Nature has a strong history of working across government, not-for-profit and private sectors to secure permanent protection of important conservation land across Victoria. Full time | Melbourne Based | Two year contract About the role: We are seeking a Conservation Project Officer to support the delivery of conservation projects across the South Central region, based in our Melbourne CBD office. This role is essential to the delivery of multiple conservation projects across South Central Victoria and contributes to meaningful on ground outcomes. Familiarity with conservation and land management principles is required to provide guidance and undertake project activities. In this role you will proactively engage with partners and landholders regarding project delivery, conduct monitoring, spatial mapping and work with contractors to undertake on-ground project activities.
