Description The Department of Emergency Medicine, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, seeks multiple candidates to join the faculty as tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructors for its 1-to-2-year fellowships. The design of these fellowship programs is to produce national leaders in their respective areas of Emergency Medicine. Positions available are in Administration, Medical Education, Research, Educational Leadership, Innovation in Clinical Care, International/Global Emergency Medicine Education, and Leadership. The Department of Emergency Medicine has a rich academic history that includes well-established education programs for medical students, residents and fellows. Andrew E. Muck, MD, MBA, leads the Department of Emergency Medicine that includes adult care, pediatric care, and an active air and ground emergency transport program. The University of Virginia Medical Center is a 600-bed tertiary care and Level 1 trauma center located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville.
