Project Manager I Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Manager I (Controls) to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Management & Cost Control: - Own and manage the overall financial health of the project, including budget adherence, cost forecasting, and margin protection - Develop, maintain, and reconcile project financial projections, cash flow, and equipment forecasts - Allocate the project estimate into the financial system, establish cost codes, and ensure accurate cost tracking - Monitor cost trends, identify variances, and proactively implement corrective actions - Review, approve, and process invoices to ensure alignment with contract terms, budget, and work-in-place Billing, Contracts & Change Management: Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, including commercial terms, technical exhibits, and schedule requirements - Prepare and submit monthly owner billings, ensuring accuracy, timelin...
