Description The Snow lab at NYU’s Department of Biology is looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to work as a Junior Laboratory Associate. This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date. This position is for a trainee preparing for a research path. It will provide development of technical skills; supervision by senior scientists incorporating individual development plan in support of training goals and those of faculty mentor; and possible publication of research findings during appointment period. Responsibilities may include: Projects in the Snow lab focus on defining the molecular and evolutionary basis of cell division and cell signaling, using fungi as primary experimental models.
