The Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the pediatric acute care population within Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This role will support University of Iowa Health Care’s tripartite mission of education, research, and patient care and service while upholding the highest standards for a safe, effective, and efficient medication distribution. In Stead Family Children’s Hospital, clinical pediatric pharmacists are integral to all facets of patient care, encompassing therapeutic drug monitoring, medication reconciliation, medication education, and precepting pharmacy learners. This role will support the highest level of safe and effective patient care via thorough clinical review and verification of medication orders.
