Overview United Holdings Oklahoma City is Now Hiring a Supply Chain Intern at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. The supply chain internship will be a rotational based internship allowing for exposure to multiple groups within the supply chain department, including purchasing, system master data, and order management, as each group supports Kirby’s distribution businesses. The internship program will consist of daily responsibilities, short term projects, and one long term. Purchasing: - Purchase order creation for inventory at 20+ distribution locations. - Expediting parts to address immediate customer needs. - Satisfy all open requirements for Ecommerce backorders. - Understand the procure to pay process and learning to troubleshoot issues. System Master Data: - Inventory planning based on historical sales and forecast from sales staff. - Building and analyzing reports to drive operational improvements. - Creating new items to launch into ERP system. Order Management: - Managing cost overruns to make sure jobs are processing through the shop efficiently. - Assist sales staff in order quoting and product availability. - WIP job creation and scheduling of work through the shop...
