SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division; Front Office, Guest Services, PBX, and Concierge Departments in a professional manner. Maintain the integrity of the position by adhering to all policies and procedures of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for the daily operation of all Rooms Division operational areas - Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of all managerial and supervisory staff - Responsible for screening all Rooms Division potential employees prior to initiating the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa - Monitors weekly, all departmental schedules, and compares to forecast and budget - Review time sheets from the GTRS Payroll Department - Maintains control of all departmental expenses (i.e. Payroll, supplies, etc) - Ensures and maintains effective positive relations with all resort departments - Assist the Director of Hotel Operations with the annual budget, and make recommendations for capital and program improvements - Ensure that all staff adheres to the policies and procedures of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa - Coordinates with Engineering to ensure that the fa...
