Department: 05500 AMG AOC Naperville Freedom Dr - Radiology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday thru Friday 7am 7pm Saturdays Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Determination of appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices. - 1)Positions patient, adjusts equipment, secures and immobilizes support devices as needed to tactfully perform procedures. - 2)Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality films for the radiologists. - 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test and records on appropriate form for the radiologist to review. - Operation of advanced and sophisticated radiology equipment. - 1)Assists radiologists with procedures to include the more advanced and specialty procedures (i.e., basic special procedures, QA assignments as assigned, etc.) requiring additional experience and knowledge. - Adherence to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care. - 1)Uses universal precautions in daily performance o...
