Job description
In this role, you are responsible for the structural design and assessment of rotor blades for wind turbines, covering both existing products and new developments. You work closely with manufacturing, operations, project management, service, and logistics to ensure robust, certifiable blade designs. The position combines analytical engineering work with cross-functional technical coordination. YOUR TASKS: - Take responsibility for the structural design of existing and newly developed rotor blades, with a strong focus on design for manufacturing - Perform structural analysis of rotor blades and blade components made of fibre-reinforced composites using analytical and numerical methods such as FEM - Develop and validate structural concepts for blade components, ensuring compliance with technical, manufacturing, and operational requirements - Align design assumptions, loads, and technical decisions with stakeholders from operations, manufacturing, project management, service, and logistics - Prepare technical documentation and analysis reports required for internal reviews and rotor blade certification - Contribute to continuous improvement of blade structures, methods, and engineerin...
