Job description

The Labourer - Civil is responsible for delivering the civil installation elements of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Traffic Control Systems (TCS) projects across the O&M portfolio. This includes the construction, modification, and reconstruction of assets to meet technical specifications and safety standards. The role plays a key part in supporting Yunex Traffic’s operational objectives through high-quality workmanship and adherence to customer and regulatory requirements. The working pattern will be approximately 70%-night shift and 30%-day shift, but this can change depending on customer requirements, overtime is also available. Areas of responsibility and tasks: Carry out the below but not limited to the following: - Comply with internal and external processes. - Construction and reconstruction of assets, such as Traffic Control Signals (TCS), Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Hazard warning signs (AWS, VSLS) etc. - Electrical testing of ITS assets. - Preparation of equipment prior to final installation e.g., Traffic Signal Controllers or vehicle detection systems. - Installation or modification of new and existing TCS and ITS assets. - Successful completion of mandator...
