Principal Identity Engineer

Job description

The principal Identity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and governing enterprise identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. This role shapes the organisation’s IAM strategy, drives adoption of Zero Trust principles and ensures compliance with regulatory and security requirements. It combines deep technical expertise with the ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient identity services. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the IAM solution lead on complex programs, owning architecture from initial discovery through to execution as well as post-deployment support. Lead strategic IAM architecture assessments and roadmap engagements, with a focus on adopting a modern Identity-centric security and Zero Trust enablement. Design, implement and operate IAM architectures across multiple domains including IGA, PAM, Active Directory and Entra ID and CIAM. Champion MFA, passwordless, least privilege and Just in time access to strengthen enterprise security and posture.
