Mechanical Engineer, Major Pursuits Reporting to the Director, Major Pursuits (Calgary), the Mechanical Engineer will use their engineering and design experience to support the Major Pursuits Team in various activities including HVAC and Plumbing system design and collaboration with external consultants, owners, and trades. The Mechanical Engineer will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and will support other business units within Canem. It is preferred that this position will be based out of Calgary, Alberta, however, other Canem office locations will be considered equally. What You Will Be Working On What You Will Be Working On Project Responsibilities: Review and understand project technical requirements and applicable regulatory requirements Develop detailed design schedules that are coordinated with the overall project schedule Collaboration with consultant and contractor teams Use engineering experience to develop BOMs for all HVAC, plumbing, and BAS systems Coordinate with vendors and other parties and provide information in a timely manner to avoid delay with the design process Work with Business Development staff to construct and maintain relationships with...
