Intro description: Legalist is a tech-enabled alternative asset manager that uses proprietary data-driven origination to invest in uncorrelated legal and government-payment assets. Founded out of Y Combinator in 2016, Legalist manages over $1.7 billion for endowments, foundations, and family offices. Legalist is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a junior, high-impact role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate is comfortable with cold outreach and thrives in a quota-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and other channels - Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders - Generate and qualify new business opportunities - Build and maintain targeted lead lists using available tools and research methods - Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation quotas - Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records in CRM systems - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting strategies Qualifications: - 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or SDR ro...
