As an Outpatient Counselor you'll be working with patients in the Cedar Rapids area. This role will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating group and individual sessions for patients seeking assistance with substance use disorders. The perfect candidate for this position would have an interest or skill in working with women and women's services, and/or with children. Key Duties: - Conduct comprehensive substance use evaluations for new patients to determine their individual needs and the level of care required. - Collaborate with community partners to conduct evaluations in person and via telehealth for incarcerated patients. - Complete engagement activities and partner with Supervisor to ensure patients exiting incarceration are assigned a regular Counselor upon release. - Lead group counseling sessions for patients; providing education, support, and guidance in a supportive group setting. -...
