Director, Field Medical Affairs (Neurology)

Job description

As a Director, Field Medical Affairs, you will be responsible for regional hiring, deployment, and leadership responsibilities for Neurology focused Medical Science Liaisons. You will collaborate with the Senior Director, Field Medical, Medical Directors, and others in setting Field Medical strategy. Responsible for oversight of activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines. Other responsibilities include providing scientific exchange and collaboration with therapeutic area opinion leaders on disease and product information as well as research initiatives. Participate in the development and management of company and investigator sponsored clinical trials A typical day may include the following: To be considered an Advanced medical and/or scientific degree required (e.g., MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, DVM) along with 10+ years’ work experience in Medical Affairs. Previous experience as an MSL and leading a team of MSLs is required. 5+ years Neurology pharmaceutical work experience is preferred; in myasthenia gravis (MG) is helpful.
