Description The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine invites applications for a Restorative Neurosurgeon to join our academic faculty. This is a full-time appointment at the Assistant Professor (without tenure) rank in the Clinician-Scholar Pathway. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for this position in this title will be $53,171 - $57,077 per month ($638,052--$684,924 per year), commensurate with experience, discipline, and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This position will focus on the surgical management of complex neurological disorders, including epilepsy surgery, movement disorder surgery (e.g., deep brain stimulation), pain procedures, eloquent cortex tumor resections, and peripheral nerve surgery.
