We are working closely alongside a local authority in Bexley t o assist with the appointment of a Social care Assistant on a 6.5 - months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.13- £19.78 per hour Summary: The Social Care Assistant (Level 1) is a vital frontline role dedicated to supporting adults, older people, and their informal carers. Operating within the framework of the Care Act , you will assess the needs of individuals with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities. Your primary focus is to implement strengths-based support plans that maximize independence, allowing service users to remain in their communities or move into appropriate accommodation.This role requires a rehabilitative and preventative approach. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with health colleagues and external partners to ensure a seamless, integrated support system.
