Job Summary Performs advanced repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on medical equipment and systems. This role includes conducting equipment evaluations, providing technical consultations, and participating in technology management. The technician will work under minimal supervision, collaborating with customers and team members to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and customer service abilities are crucial for this position. Periodic local travel may be required to support health system-wide maintenance activities. Essential Functions: - Repairs and Maintenance: Perform electronic, electrical, and mechanical repairs/corrective maintenance on medical equipment, including specialized physiological life support and non-life support devices. Ensure timely and quality repairs to maintain equipment readiness for departmental use.
