Sanitation Technician

Job description

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the production areas, warehouse spaces, and sanitation-controlled equipment surfaces within established cleaning timelines. This role supports compliance with GMP requirements, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks, and food safety regulatory expectations. Your Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize processing equipment in accordance with company procedures and SSOPs - Clean conveyors, tanks, foaming production areas, and general production spaces - Sweep, mop, and scrub floors using manual tools and powered floor-scrubbing equipment as needed - Perform sanitation activities supporting the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to maintain regulatory and internal food safety compliance - Use cleaning and sanitation chemicals safely according to SDS guidelines and company procedures - Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training; report unsafe conditions immediately - Support and comply with quality systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety programs, employee safety initiatives, and preventive maintenance coordination - Support and comply with GMP requirement...
