The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an academic bariatric and minimally invasive surgeon to join the Section of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. Position Highlights: Candidates must have completed fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery with a focus on bariatric surgery. The position emphasizes modern bariatric surgery, including minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures such as Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RNY), sleeve gastrectomy, SADI/DS, and revisions, utilizing robotic and endoscopic technologies.
