Senior Software Engineer, Android Kernel/Systems

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. - 5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages: C or C++. - Experience in low level programming on C or C++. - Experience working with operating systems, computer architecture, embedded systems and Linux/Unix kernel, etc. Preferred qualifications: - Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. - 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects. - Experience with System Software in any of the following areas - ARM/ARM64 architecture, compilers, firmware, operating systems, linux kernel, filesystems/storage, device drivers, performance tuning, networking, tools, tests, virtualization, platform libraries, etc. - Knowledge of the Android platform.
