Job description

Position Summary The Assistant Director, Advising & Student Services is a part of the team responsible for managing the oversees all aspects of academic advising and related student services operations for the BS Business and Technology Management, MS Management of Technology, MS Industrial Engineering, and PhD Human-Centered Technology Innovation and Design programs housed in the Department of Technology Management and Innovation. This position will supervise and ensure timely and efficient academic advising & student services for the department’s 800+ students, and conceptualize, develop, and implement extracurricular activities and special events to support the success of the department’s students. This includes hosting regular one-on-one appointments with students, overseeing all administrative processes associated with student advisement (e.g. registration, course permissions, graduation audits, CPT/OPT, etc), driving internal retention initatives, and developing extracurricular academic and extracurricular services programs and offerings (e.g. social/community building, career development, etc) to better serve the department’s growing student population.
