General Summary of Position: University of Massachusetts, Lowell is delighted to announce two openings for full-time Counseling Clinicians or Senior Counseling Clinicians at Counseling Services, part of the UMass Lowell Wellness Center. We are seeking energetic, skilled and dedicated licensed psychologists or therapists with a passion for clinical supervision and/or group therapy. Counseling Services strives to empowering students to achieve their academic, personal and professional goals in an atmosphere that is safe, supportive, inclusive and affirming. We provide mental health care, services, and supports that aim to be: High Quality, Effective and Ethical; Culturally Responsive and Affirming; Respectful and Compassionate. The Counseling Clinician/Senior Counseling Clinician will provide culturally affirming clinical services including triage assessments, intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, brief individual and couples counseling as well as group counseling.
