Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job description

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Seasonal Schedule: During harvest seasons (July and October), expect a busier schedule with up to 6 days per week. Outside of harvest periods, the workload is lighter. We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background to take the lead on maintaining and repairing our forklift fleet and other material handling equipment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping equipment in top shape. What You’ll Do: - Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. - Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components impacting facility operations. - Complete routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems, including plumbing and electrical. - Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. - Use power tools and welding equipment as needed for repairs and fabrication. - Operate lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
